Grundutbildning i akupunktur och traditionell kinesisk medicin

3-årig utbildning i traditionell kinesisk medicin och akupunktur. Undervisningen sker i Lund, fem helger per termin. Utbildningen är godkänd av Svenska Akupunkturförbundet - Traditionell kinesisk medicin.

Traditionell kinesisk medicin är en av världens absolut mest sofistikerade medicinska system och har en obruten historisk tradition som sträcker sig minst 2500 år tillbaka. Den är alltjämt i dagligt bruk och tillgodoser hälsobehoven hos mer än en fjärdedel av mänskligheten.
I väst förknippas kinesisk medicin oftast med akupunktur men den rymmer också många andra terapiformer såsom örtmedicin, qigong, tai chi, tuina massage och dietterapi. Dessa terapier utgår från en helhetssyn på människan i kosmos och en livsfilosofi där harmoni och balans är de viktigaste grundbegreppen.

Lärare: Louis Womack
Louis utövar kinesisk akupunktur och örtmedicin på sin klinik i Lund. Han har läst sin grundutbildning i kinesisk medicin och akupunktur i Kina och Sverige och sin utbildning i kinesisk örtmedicin i Danmark, England och Kina.

Kursinnehåll:
1. Grundläggande teori
YinYang, fem element, Vitala substanser, organlära (Zang Fu), meridiansystem
2. Diagnostik och differentiering
De grundläggande diagnostiska redskapen- bl a puls och tungdiagnostik. Symtom differentiering efter de åtta diagnostiska reglerna.
3. Akupunktur
tekniker, punkter, punktkombinationer
4. Behandling
de vanligaste symtom och sjukdomstillstånden, introduktion till andra terapiformer; kinesisk örtmedicin, tai chi, qi gong, dietterapi och klinisk praktik

Shen-Hammer Pulse System - a 9 day seminar in Lund (Sweden)

Pulse diagnosis Teaching will be a mix of theory and practice, and the practical part will include close personal supervision of each participant. A small teaser; the pulse gives us the ability to assess the degree of deficiency in an Organ, and thereby the option to treat and balance a condition that otherwise could have caused the Organ to collapse and loose its functional ability.

Structure of the seminar: It’s held Friday-Sunday, all days from 9.30-17.00.
1. segment - we introduce the Shen-Hammer pulse system, we look at the structure of the system, the placement of the fingers for the entire pulse, the 3 depths, pulse waves and the most common pulse qualities.
2. segment– we introduce the individual positions and also some of the extra positions, we discuss the correlation between the entire pulse/the whole organism and the individual positions/the organs/areas of the body. We discuss the pulse qualities in more detail and their interpretation depending on depth, e.g. the Slippery quality at Qi-depth with a slow rate means Qi Xu, but Slippery at Organ-depth is interpreted as latent pathogens (such as inflammation or parasites etc.)
3. segment– we will start this segment with palpating and analyzing 2 patients. We break down/interpret the pulse pictures and discuss treatment approaches. Dr. Shen’s System model and the Six Conformations is one of these approaches.

Material; all participants will receive teaching material in Danish and/or English. Just to avoid misunderstandings remember that we will not cover all the extra positions (of which there are 22) but just some of them. Teaching material will include all of them and they will be briefly discussed. The seminar will be taught in English.

The seminar is taught by Claus Sørensen. Claus has for some years been a certified instructor of the pulse system (DRS Instructor), a certification receive by Dr. Leon Hammer. Claus has integrated the pulse system into the curriculum and acupuncture program taught at Nordisk Akupunkturuddannelse - www.noakud.dk in Denmark.

Upon registration you will receive relevant teaching material. Please read through it before the seminar. Places are limited to 12 participants. Price total SEK 10.800,-, so SEK 3.600,- per segment.
